Refund policy

 

RETURNS, EXCHANGES, & CONDITIONS

Items must be returned within 14 days (subject to a $10 restocking fee per item) or exchanged within 30 days of being received.

(Please also refer to the specific product page that you are ordering...information regarding shipping, returns, and exchanges on the product page may overrule our existing policy. There are some circumstances (final sale) where the following policy does not apply.)

Returns are offered within the United States on all purchases unless otherwise noted on certain products (namely Final Sale). Return requests must be made within 14 days of the date you receive your purchase. Requests after this point will be denied. Don’t worry about the time it takes us to respond to your request, as long as you can show us that you reached out to us within 14 days of receipt of the item(s) you purchased.

Returns will be subject to a $10 restocking fee per item.

Final sale items, customized products and art prints are not eligible to be returned for refund, credit, or exchange.

Items purchased at a discounted price are considered FINAL SALE and are not eligible for returns. 

Shipping for Exchanges or Returns is free of charge within the contiguous United States for one return or exchange per order.  If a second exchange or return is requested, the cost of the second shipping will be covered by the customer.

Unworn, Original, New Condition

We are pleased to offer a return policy on unworn items in their original, new condition. We have remarkably low return rates and we are proud of the high-quality products we offer. However, we understand that there may be a case in which you need to return or exchange your order and we are more than happy to accommodate returns and exchanges on all David Shepard products that have not been worn or have not had labels removed.

International

If your merchandise is returned to us due to a failure to pay customs or duties, you will be charged the cost of shipping and refunded the remaining amount. For example, if you make a purchase for $200 and we ship the purchase to you for $20, you will not be refunded the shipping costs. By purchasing from David Shepard LLC you understand that duties may be required to import the products into your destination country. David Shepard LLC is not responsible for any customs fees or duties. 

If you return an international purchase, you will be refunded the total amount of your purchase less the shipping cost. International shipping cost is non-refundable, as that was the total to ship the initial order to you. 

Exchanges

If the size you received does not fit you, we are happy to help you exchange them. The original product must be unworn and in new condition. Exchange requests must be made within 30 days of receiving your purchase. Requests after this point will be denied. If the size you need to exchange is not available you will receive a refund upon receipt of your original purchase in unworn and new condition. We offer free exchanges in the contiguous US unless otherwise noted on certain products (namely Final Sale items).  If you wish to exchange your product and are an international customer, you are responsible for covering the cost of shipping. 

Free exchanges are offered within the contiguous US if merchandise is unworn and brand new. Only one free exchange per order. For example, if you exchange for another pair and that size doesn't fit you either, the shipping cost for a second exchange is then paid by the customer.

How do I make a return or exchange?

Send us your order number and information regarding the item to be exchanged and the size requested.

All products must be shipped back unworn and with labels on or a refund will not be issued. The returned items will be inspected to see if they qualify for a refund. Damaged merchandise or products with labels removed will not be refunded and you will be invoiced the appropriate amount to cover the cost of shipping the items back to you. 

David Shepard LLC will not be responsible for returns lost in transit.

International Returns

For international returns outside of the USA, please indicate on the package "RETURN, NO DUTIES" or your package will be returned to you. We unfortunately cannot take responsibility for duties and customs. If you elect to return your product and you are based outside of the United States, we will not be responsible for any duties/customs that you have paid. Returns and exchanges are only offered within the US. If you are an international customer, please note that international shipping costs are non-refundable and will not be covered by David Shepard LLC. 

When will I receive my refund or store credit?

A full refund or store credit will be issued after we have received, inspected, and confirmed that the returned products were not worn and labels were not removed. In the case of refunds, once we refund your order, the funds will be available on the original payment account according to the terms, conditions, and practices of your banking institution. We cannot control how quickly the funds are returned to you once we submit the refund.  In the case of store credits, you will be notified by email once the store credit is issued.
